About The Teesside SARC.
The Teesside SARC offers a comprehensive service for adults living in Teesside, who have experienced sexual violence or sexual abuse. You can access The Teesside SARC via the Police and other professionals, as well as via the self-referral pathway (booking an appointment at the SARC, without Police involvement).
At our SARC, you will be offered support and guidance, a medical assessment/treatment, a forensic examination, and the opportunity of aftercare referrals for support services. You will be offered these services based on your individual needs, and can choose to use as much or as little of our service as you wish.

Our SARC service is regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), who are the independent regulator of health and adult social care in England.
